This is the first layout that i have created for my website. I decided to make 60% of the home page a slideshow of images that will also appear on my portfolio page. I have used a black and white colour scheme as this was something that i noticed is very popular with photography websites and also is very eye catching as this is unusual for a promotional website.
The main pages are then central as this makes them easily visible to the reader and they will stay in this position throughout the website, and the other features of each page being placed around the buttons. This keep the site continuous and also simple to navigate.
At the bottom of the page i have embedded to videos, one of my short film that i created and one of the music video which i also created. These will be displayed here as i want to keep my portfolio very ugh focussed on my photography, adverts and page layouts, all of which are print media.
The design of this page is simple and this is how i want the rest of the site to also be as adding too many links and too many colours and images can take away from the work that i am trying to promote.
